Chapter Boasts Six Society Presidents

Six chapter members have served as Society presidents:

1. Donald Bullock (1973-1974)
2. Joe Harless (1976-1977)
3. Judy Springer (1977-1978)
4. Claude Lineberry (1981-1982)
5. Stephanie Jackson (1982-1983)
6. Matthew T. Peters (2008-2009)

In addition, the very first president of the national society, Gabriel D. Ofiesh, moved to Washington shortly after his presidency and was a Potomac Chapter member for over 40 years and several additional members have served on the board of directors of the international society.
